No.. I'm saying that there is plenty of folks talking Jesus-
I was born to a AoG Missionary couple on a Arizona reservation
and went to sunday school and every church service that the doors
was open.. Fact is- *I didn't have much choice in the matter.

No.. I'm saying, I had preaching the likes of standing in a wind storm
and haveing it throw at me. I had it from the pulpet and from home,
and few times did I get encouraged to follow traditional character
building skills such as Writeing,Art and Science outside public school.

I'm saying that I was part of some kind of sub-culture that held
Jesus first and all else id folly includeing acidemic achievement.

That's what I figure today, as I had a keen sence of duty to Jesus
and never wanted to insult the Holy Ghost. *But.. as a Commander-

I'd ask a question with reguard to any current event or historical
fact and get from some boys a blank look, *that somehow they were
not to embrace the "world" and Christ is comming back soon, so all
duty to self was secondary to Jesus First.

I'm saying Bob, they ran the Ranger pledge backward so that it
excused them from effort or achievement.

"with God's help, I will do my best"

Their understanding that investment in God would have them do their
best.. and that personal "best" was acceptible to God.

I don't agree that it means that-

*I take it to mean, "I will do my BEST, and ask God to grant me grace"

*Bravo-
For me I desire to stay inside my "bubble"......

I might share who I am, what I'm doing and give a testimony..
But thumping on a Bible or trying to OutPreach the pastor *OR
going on about something too long.. just to touch that "thing"
(WHEN EMOTION's GET JUMBLED) *I will not do it.

Keep it simple.. keep it character.. do yur best, and if *Preach'n
needs doing- Hire a professional.

No more-No less boys need Men to be who they are.

*Good chat-
Blessings on yah!
Rock-on amigo!
