Well. Most preparations have been completed.
We have:

300 Convoy of Hope Cards.
6 BIG BAGS OF CANDY
10 nail aprons donated by Home Depot.
7 Ranger Mobiles, 3 red, 1 green, 2 yellow, 1 blue with banners hanging
over the top of them.
The bus got a washing today and fueled up windows will be cleaned in the
am.
The float is 24' long with 3 Ranger mobiles on it, tent, 2 14foot long
banners, 2 5' long banners, 4 posters and a bunch of Ranger artifacts,
manuals, posters, fishing poles, backpacks, etc.
I have a quick release manned by a Commander for the 6 rangers being
pulled behind the float on the Ranger Mobiles.
It should be a site to behold! Will post a site to see pictures when all
is said and done!
December 11th I will be promoted to Men's Ministries and handing over the
Sr. Commanders position at Oak Grove Outpost 153 after 8 years in that
position it will be a much needed break for me. With much thought and
prayer I felt a need to step back and let another take the reins and
steer that wagon at Oak Grove. I still will be very active in Royal
Rangers just need to have a little break. As the Springfield South
Sectional Commander I have a lot of ground to cultivate and will focus
more attention there. This will allow me a new opportunity to visit many
of the churches in my section (27) while they are having rangers on wed
nights. Something I haven't been able to do since I started working in
Dist. Staff 4 years ago.
Man time flies! This last year we saw more boys saved than any year
previous. Went and did more this year than we ever have. I praise God
for allowing me to serve at Oak Grove in that position and hope God has
even more for me to do as a servant of Jesus Christ.
