Hey all,
Gotta be short about this. I'm on the
computer for minutes only and that's against Doctor's orders. But I had to
put a prayer request out to the fellowship around the cybercampfire.
This has been a very bad week, Satan seems to really be attacking us,
lately.
I have had emergency surgery on my eye this week
for a detached retina. When I went back for a post-op visit, the dr. had
to do some in office adjustments on the eye. I am off work indefinitely,
hopefully only another week or so. Still, my wife is a stay at home mom,
so mine is the only income and I don't have enough sick time to cover, nor do I
have short term disability insurance.
Second, as we were going to my surgeon yesterday
(an hours drive) we lost park and reverse on our van, our only source of
transportation for the family. Don't know how much it will cost to fix,
but I don't have it.
I know the Lord will provide, but He likes for us
to pray. So I'm asking for prayers and I do appreciate the support before
the throne!
Gotta go, my wife is keeping me honest on Dr's
orders and I've been on too long. I will try to check in, but may be out
of commission for a while as far as computer time is concerned. Dr. says I
can read, but have to do it with my nearly blind eye under best of
circumstances. I feel like the old Morton's salt commercial - "When it
rains, it pours." <grin>
