Dear Commanders,

I watched it today with my father (I had to record it since we have
evening service). I was just as I predicted an attempt to humanize Jesus.
I found it amusing the way they tried to explain Jesus' "mission" completly
leaving out the possiblity (and disscussion) of Jesus being the Son of God
and dying for the sins of mankind. According to the documentary Jesus was
just a political activist trying to change the way things were done at the
temple. They even mentioned that rediculous theory that Jesus didn't really
die on the cross, that he just passed out. At least at the end they said
that this would have to be a case of faith.
The documentary did have a few interesting points and the CGI
recreations of the antcient cities were awsome! I'm thinking of doing some
kind of edited version of this documentary. What I really wish though was
that Josh McDowell would do a rebuttle of this documentary.
