a friend of mine and my wife. We went to church with them in Oklahoma City when I was
stationed there in the Air Force - Tamra was in the youth group that we were sponsors
for.

Dear friends:
Hearts Set Free Ministry wants to do everything we can to help Tamra Breeden, daughter
of Richard and Judy Breeden, receive medical treatment. Tamra has Neurofribromotosis
Type 2. It is a disease known for inflicting a person's central nervous system with
tumors. She was diagnosed with NF2 eleven years ago and has battled most of the
symptoms where tumors have affected her sight, hearing, spinal cord, brainstem, and
facial nerves. Tamra is twenty-one years old. Tamra graduated high school with high
honors and finished two years of honors classes in college until tumor growth started
causing life-threatening problems. Tamra has undergone eight major surgeries in eight
years in which she lost eyesight in one eye, all of her hearing, all of her facial
movement, and additionally developed balance problems. She undergoes extensive
rehabilitation after each surgery to get back some of what was lost. Tamra is a
fighter and God has given her a true will to live through all that she has been
through. Despite the fact that she still has multiple tumors that will continue to
grow causing more problems, Tamra still has a goal to return to college and obtain an
American Sign Language degree.
Rather continuing this harrowing protocol, we have become aware of a different set of
treatments that offer hope of shrinking the tumors rather than facing further damaging
surgeries. The Issels Treatments (which can be viewed online at www.issels.com) are
offered at the Oasis of Hope Hospital. These consist of a three-week intensive,
non-toxic treatment consisting of a vaccine made from Tamra's own blood, immune
boosting Coley's vaccine, and nutritional immunotherapy. There are many documented
cases that show the vaccines that are made stop tumor growth, eventually shrinking it
in size. These medical and travel expenses will total $30,000. All funds will go
toward various means of medical treatment that God makes available to her.
