*Got the old Radio out and working again.. Just a small old gray table top model.
MY Father-in-law is a radio wizard and former Navy radioman from the Korea war. That means he keeps old RCA tubes in the Garage in case someone in the future needs their Hallicrafter repaired like me<G> "This old radio has all the charm of 1930 to me<G>" said Gramps- I wired up a strand of old wire out the window of Rancho Deluxe and went on a hunt *All from home with the twist of the dail.. SO WHAT! (*said GMA#3911) ------- "The news is availible on CNN and on the web!" *yea man, but with the hallicrafter- I get it from the horses mouth without filtering.. I have to run it thru my brain.. "It's old.. It's wierd, it's a hassle" *I get it.. You embrace new tech while rejecting old tech.. when you say "so-what" -you cheerily vote to follow the herd without getting a second opinion.. "Huh.. so what! *I'm right.." (Suddenly from the radio came the voice of British Prime Min.
