I will admit I have not read a majority of the e-mails floating around about
"leadership" & "witnessing" to the boys. If a person IS a Christian as
mandated by the Christ in fulfilling the Scriptures then that person leads
by being in front, leads by example, leads for protection, leads for/in
instruction, but yet is a servant. The Christ was a Leader in all the arenas
mentioned before yet He was even more a Servant! Yes, there are times that
strictness in Christ-like love must be held. We must teach that Love is
prominent to the people, but we MUST NEVER "compromise" which is in fact,
what society wishes Christians to do. We constantly hear that "true"
Christians are narrow-minded, well guess what? That's the only way to be --
scripture says, in Matthew 7:13-14, 13"Enter through the narrow gate. For
wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many
enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to
life, and only a few find it." NIV
