Jim congrats on the new job opportunity. My
prayer is that the Lord opens doors for us all. I got a call the other night
from the owner of a Christian Coffeeshop in a town 30 miles from me. He said to
me "Mike, we want to book you!" My jaw fell to the floor because if
it was that simple I would have it made. I have almost been 2 years
without any real work for my business. I have to face it, Christian DJ's aren't
in high demand right now, so naturally I was very excited to have the
opportunity to take the show before a crowd of 200 people in a single night.
Word on the street has it that many of the kids who will be there have a remote
association to Hazel River A/G but the owners of the venue said that the kids
who come usually are not Christians. They just have booked for 3
hours and we will have a blast down there because I have quite a show that
includes lighting and special effects like lasers.
Like you Jim, I'm thankful that new
opportunities are coming about because only God can give them to us. I pray that
you do well there.
