I spent the evening updating the Ranger Database to use a installer instead of DOS. I checked one installer and they wanted $495.00 to use their program. I found a similar one for free. So after a little script deciphering and compiling I got this here thing to work. It is still 39 meg in size but it will run the socks off of a Outpost/Area/Section in record keeping and contacts, ROY, Derbies, Lockin's and a whole lot more.
I add something to this thing almost weekly. The site below hosts each database file for download independently so in theory you could get just one database update and it will work with your main database Program file. If you don't need all of the relational files then just download the ones you will use for your level of Rangers. I added e-mailing District Contacts right in the Dist. Database where it is REAL handy for rallying the Staff for events. Even added 10 templates for you to put in your customized letters out. Basically while I do my job as Sectional Commander this Program grows along with me. Added ROY testing extras as well. The signs database is growing too. It hosts 4 different designs all you add is the text and it graphically builds each sign with RR emblem half page full page etc. ROY testing has 13 signs just to get you started. Pinewood Derby Racing those signs are in there too. Pow Wow Displays...in there. Nice thing is its already in there waiting for you to press print and your done. The best part is it is FREE for you to use and download. So keep up to speed and enjoy.
