We had our Div/Dist. ROY Testing this weekend. It was a great time of
fellowship and fun. We had two great devotions short and sweet and good
food as well.

One of the questions we asked the boys during the oral interview. "What
do you think about the war in Iraq?" Most said we were doing the right
thing. They didn't like war but sometimes it is necessary to free
oppressed people and preserve freedom.

One candidate responded we needed to talk more. War is never good.
Killing people is wrong.

Each was right in one way or another.

My take is and this is free: (not even charging my two cents GRIN
:))...........
I was raised a Jehovah's Witness. More than once I had teachers jerk me
up when I didn't stand for the US Pledge. I was told that to stand and
pledge to the flag was worshiping it. I was told that Killing people for
any reason was wrong and voting was wrong. I was told a lot of things.

In high school I came face to face with Christians. I learned they were
not the evil I was told. I spent many days playing bible ping pong with
them trowing scriptures back and forth to prove this or prove that.

Today as a Christian I believe that it is our duty to defend our
Christian Nation. I believe we should stand and pledge allegiance to one
another under God. I believe we should stop terrorism at it's roots. I
believe we should protect innocent life as much as possible while still
preserving the lives of our troops. In that I mean this. I will not tie
the hands of our military to sit like ducks in a pond while these crazed
suicide nuts start their harry carry blowing themselves up. Once they
get to that point. It's time to clean house.

We have tried our best to be as accurate as possible to preserve innocent
human life. We have tried to get the Iraqi to help from inside. It is
time for those that want freedom inside the walls of Baghdad to make an
effort to dispel the regime if they don't' start doing that...we will
have little choice but to clean house.

War is dirty, War is ugly. I hope the best for the Iraqi people. I pray
for the safety of all who are trying to do right. Those that are doing
wrong. Let the wrath of a Christian Nation be upon them.
