Thanks Janet. I enjoy your posts as well. We had a itinerating missionary tonight in the church I was visiting. She is going to Yemen. What tales she told. She is the bravest/craziest missionary I know. I spoke to her after the service and told her she is the bravest or has the most faith of any missionary I new of. She told in the service of how God had manifested HIM Self to her on the streets of Yemen in a personal and physical way and rebuked her when she was having one of those why me lord boo hoo parties ... it was raining, she was lost and wondering around in a Yemen city talking to people whom she couldn't understand due to their slang Arabic...they could understand her but she couldn't understand them... and she stated she had almost became angry with God. She said he rebuked her and told her to be dependent on Him and put her cares on him and he would take care of her. She said she repented and from that moment on she could see HIM directing things on her behalf. I know It's real because he did the same for me shortly after I was saved. In a still small audible voice..."Trust me, Just Trust me." as she also said basically the same thing I had heard and experienced... I heard it as plainly as I have every heard any spoken word.
She said that only 2% of the missions budget goes to the Arab countries due to the closed doors. She also reported that maybe their was 100 missionaries in Yemen and 18 million people who very few had ever heard the Gospel. We anointed her with oil and all gathered around her and prayed and sent her on her way. God was there by His Spirit and it felt great to share in their service.
