I had good seats last night at the Ft Vancouver High School class of 2003 Graduation.
I had not attended a High School Graduation since June 1970<G> *That's 33 years... The grand mother of the graduate who also was a FVHS grad remembered the school hymn from 50 years ago.. The school it's self is only 110 years old. before that, I guess education wasn't important. Then, before cars.. airplanes, radio and regular factory work.. even the town was unimportant. Hot and long we sat in folding chairs to render honor at our young graduate.. to hear words and watch him recieve a small folded cover to a diploma.
