I've seen some pictures of the Johnny Barnes Lodge at the Camporama covered
in snow and boy was it a switch from the swelter haven I remember while I
was there. Springfield was nice, (and I was even able to get a real shower
in Springfield!) Branson was nice and even St. Louis was nice but I baked at
the Camporama. The snow cones at the Camporama were good too. Hence is my
impressions of "SoMo" and northern Arkansas too as my Sr. Cdr and I were
trying to escape out the back way in the church van. We learned that the
fast food restaurants in the mid-west take bank debit cards. and boy we
thought that was a concept! They don't do it around here. Had to feed those
guys something. .
