Hey Kelvin, The former section I was with had marksmanship classes and participation at the pow-wows. We would have an NRA certified range officer and only those boys who could display enough maturity were allowed to even approach the range. When I was with OP# 68 Christ Chapel, we taught our Trailrangers (back when they had such a thing) we taught them how to load and pack their own shells before we would take them skeet shooting. We taught them about the different calibers of each rifle, such as a 30 odd 6, over-under, side by side, 12 gauge and the likes. we had them load and pack their own shells with the gun powder and shot. I had passed the National Muzzleloaders Association proficiency test, though i hadn't joined FCF, it was something that was made available to the FCF folks.
