Today I spent several hours messing with a new scanning program and
trying to get it to scan the Royal Rangers Catalog so I wouldn't' have to
plunk in every number... Well good news and bad news... the Good news
is I saved 200 dollars on my Gico Insurance the bad news is I have 28
pages left to input....

Going over this new catalog is refreshing my memories of the last time I
did this several years ago. Then it wasn't half this big...nice to have
options!

I did add a picture field so if time allows I can scan in the picture of
the GPH item. Right now I am just inputting the Description, GPH Number
and the Price. The Ranger Database builds a order form very similar to
the one GPH Uses. So while your updating your advancement records you
can order and print off certificates with one entry per
advancement...sweet and easy.

For those who use the database ...once I get the data input I will make
it available as a update file so you will only have to update the one
file.

I just added file attachments to the District Database so you can send pd
files along with your emails...I just sent out 138 emails with a Flyer to
our SW Division Rangers reminding them of our RK Day camp and Div Pow
Wow. A few key strokes and then go do something else while the computer
sends out the emails.

If anyone has any ideas on what needs to be added to make it better..
holler.
