I think that if any of the other programs in the
other countries that are not going along with the changes that the United States
program is going to use, I think that stuff would be of benefit to them in a
limited way. Handbooks might be difficult in that they are in English and not in
Spanish, but the other items, based on what the Brothers from Nicaragua told me
at the Camporama would be very useful like the advancement pins and other
related gizmos don't have to be translated for them to know what they are
supposed to represent. Is the UK and Australia going along with the same changes
that the United States Program is? I don't know, but what I do know is
that each country's national program runs an autonomous one and that means they
make decisions like that for themselves aside from what the US national policy
is. Too bad Canada doesn't have Rangers, I think there would be a lot that
Rangers everywhere could benefit from them if they did have them.
