I just put the ole sewing machine on zigzag and sew the numbers together
and that makes them one.

I too hail from the Mighty 34! (Penn-Del District)

I am going to send you one of our outpost number patches. I got tired
of
having to sew two separate patches on so I had Welsh Industries make me
a 34
number patch that looks just like two individual patches put together.

I got the idea from the Boy Scouts, where you can either buy the
individual
numbers or one patch for your troop number. The solo patch is a custom
patch.

I contacted National about it and I don't think the guy understood as he
was
thinking GPH would have to stock a boatload of patches (instead of the
numbers 0-9), when in fact the patches are special order from a patch
company - no inventory to stock.

We had a sectional trace - in February! It snowed, temperature at night
was
in the low to mid 20's. We stayed in a tipi and nearly froze as the
tipi
acted as a chimney and sucked all the heat from our two kerosene heaters
right up and out! Go to http://www.swsentinel.crosswinds.net and click
on
the FCF button then click on photos. The tipi with the orange ribbon is
mine. After that I got a baker tent - much nicer, easier to setup and a
whole lot warmer!
