As I recall, it cost about 65 cents more to buy the one patch versus two
number patches.  Since our outpost number isn't changing anytime soon, I got
a hundred or so (maybe 150).  Now I don't have to worry about parents sewing
them on wrong - 43 instead of 34.

I got them through Welsh Industries, I don't think there is great profit
potential here.  If I had the machinery, perhaps it would pay to do it.

Maybe I'll pitch it to Springfield again, this time send a copy of the order
page from the scout catalog and one of our patches.

I guess if they are listening, they've been informed.
