Pow Wow REPORT! The Ranger Kids came down during the day as their event was cancel a couple weeks previous due to rain. So we combined the two events and was all over the place! We had a great Pow Wow. It was fun and low key. Mainly a time of fellowship and camping. We saw 9 boys saved or rededicated. I was able to bring and setup/teardown the climbing wall (with help there), brought 2 ranger mobiles one was missing a wheel when I picked it up..but I heard they had a riot going down the pond bank aound a bend and it was a great track fairly steep. We did have a few collisions! The tug of war rope was in full use all day and come to think of it... someone must have thought it was theirs as it wasn't there when I went by... it will show up sometime soon. My son and his neighbor and my great nephew(his 2nd time camping) were busy building the shelter and hiding out in the woods hunting acorns for ammo for wars to defend their castle. I taught a step or two of the new firecraft merit. Mainly A frame fire one match, and showed them how to light a council fire with 3 matches 8" of floral wire and a car battery. Over 70 boys went through my firecraft classes. No accidents that I am aware of. Weather was fantastic. There was a lot more going on I just gave a report from my end.
