I love statistics. I could spend hours pawing over numbers, interpretting them this way and that way and every other way you could imagine. In fact I'm doing a unit at university right now called "Advanced research methods and statistics". I'm supposed to be writing my term paper, but I'm writing to you instead.

I noticed something very interesting in our state events this year.

We had more Trailblazers and Trail Rangers attend our Field Day and Muster [Pow Wow] than Pioneers.

This hasn't happened in my memory. Maybe it's never happened before.

Interpretting statistics like this is fun.

My spin on it is this: we're keeping our older kids!
Now - are we keeping them in the local outpost? I don't know. More research is needed there.
But -- something is happening in our state whereby kids are wanting to stay in touch with the fun, the fellowship and the ministry at our state events.

I'm getting excited!
Victor.
