This weekend is a big rusty tin swapmeet in P-town. One of my free time projects.. .....after all the Home repair, Scout'n time and $$Help'n GMA#3911 get a Education is a 1928 Ford tudor "hotrod" It started off small and easy then grew<G> Traditionaly, in places like Mizzourah ect. their are still boneyard wrecks and old cars stuck out in the trees.. The west coast isn't like that<G> Old Fords were out west.. but we have had 50+ years of salvage and the California HotRod culture. Also.. we don't have the long time "roosting" on small farm history of the midwest- Most of the west has allways been vacant.. *My "Tin" is part of a wave of grages being cleaned out by people who don't care what "Grandpa" collected<G> It's like a slow wave of treasure being laid out for peanuts after being hoarded and dreamed about for 50 years! My stainless radiator surround is vintage from the "River Rouge" plant 1928.. It may have traded straight accross for a '28 Martin guitar back then, but today I paid $5 bucks and the martin D-18 would go for $5K!
