*Long Story... Royal Ranger "flashback" last night<G>
The troop meets at 7:30 pm in the gym of Walnut Grove elementery school. -=A=- get's off "work"(if you can call it that) @5pm and faces a commute thru Portland,Or of 18 miles on I-5 traffic north.. *aside~ Pesky Oregonians like to live as if they are the center of the world. Inside of the town, all freeways are threelanes or more to move these decendents of Pioneer stock around.. Down south of Portland the I-5 Interstate is 2 lanes north-2 lanes south. Portland is located on a state line with Washington state at the mighty mile wide Columbia River. Since Automobiles have been common (1919 or so) The Interstate Bridge has been 2 lanes north 2 south.. Thus- Oregonians figure why widen the road? *It's likely only out of state communters need to leave to the north.. *So what! I happen to live in Clark County Washington.. and We in turn have been forced to add "USA" to our City Limit sign. *Many Oregonians think their is confusion between Vancouver,Wash and Vancouver,BC! *Cross the river.. they think they left the US and are in CANADA! *Idiots.. no wonder they do not let them pump their own gas! ------------------------------------------------------------ *anyway- I got home at 6pm came in and Jen had dinner ready so we sat down. *Ring!RING!
