Hey if any of you guys/gals want to bring your outpost and get in on our Pinewood Derby Lock in I am sure it would save you time and money to fly in here from Australia, Germany, South America or just some of you local folks up in Washington State.. :) well not exactly save you money but it sure would be fun wouldn't it!
I just put up for download all it takes to get it organized in a pdf file. Planer/molder, jointer, shaper, radial saw, table saw, routers, dust collection system, shop and all the extras to make it work. I sold 99% of it when the Lord put my ex wife and me back together again for a honeymoon trip to Hawaii. A couple of years ago she told me she wished I had my shop back as I used to make some nice sold oak-walnut furniture etc. Well since then I built a small 10 x 16 shop and now it is full of most everything I had before. I enjoy carting all my tools out to a Church Gym and setting up a dust collection system fans and get about 100 men and boys and we just have a great time of games, crafting, learning and getting the Pinewood Derby Cars made in one over night event! (Might need some detail work done) but the mess is all done in one event. Last year we had 4 bandsaws, 2 scroll saws, 2 table sanders, 2 lead pots, 2 drill presses. and a paint booth. This year we will have 5 bandsaws, 3 scroll saws, 2 table sanders, 2 lead post, 3 drill presses and a dust collection system to help control dust. The pdf link above has all the materials, time line, check off lists etc to put it all together. So help those boys get their cars cut out and on the way to the big race!
