I remember at the Potomac District's last Divisional pow-wow, One Commander
brought his mandolin and another had his guitar and we sang "Cat's In The
Cradle" at a campfire we had set up for our area. We were being moved by the
lyrics of that song just thinking about the realities of it and the impact
that it has on so many people. We thought about how so many of us live such
"hurried" lives that we tend to forget about that which is important to us
before the realization hits us that we had everything important all right
there and we didn't even stop to give it a consideration. We were teary
eyed when we got done with the song because of how deep the song goes and
how applicable it was to so many people.
