Take a look at the web links and decide for yourself if it is worthwhile
to sign the petition. Yes, the FCC never officially sanctioned the use
of the word, but they do seem to have opened the door to it's use, unless
people get on board and let them know how we feel.

The FCC has just approved the use of the "F-word" on Network
Television!

This is not an urban legend! See the news stories below.

As a television viewer, I'm appalled at this decision, and have
lodged a "formal complaint" with Grassfire.net that calls for the
FCC to immediately amend this decision and clarify that any and
all usage of the F-word is not acceptable on network television
under any circumstances.

Just as soon as they reach 150,000 citizen complaints, Grassfire
will deliver them directly to the FCC on our behalf!

By adding my name to the 117,385 citizens who are
filing formal complaints, I am sending a message to the FCC
decision that I expect them to use better judgment in regards to
what kind of language is used on television, and demand
immediate action be taken on their decision to use the F-word on
network television.

Please click here and join me in filing a formal complaint against
the FCC, and have that complaint delivered to the FCC.
