*I heard enough about Saddam and even enough out of GW Bush to have my fill of Texas logic<G> When Col.W.F.Cody's Wild West show traveled the world, the actions diplayed were filled with gunsmoke and trechery..
First the wagon train was attacked by wild Indians!.. They crawled up stealth like and then began to shoot arrows and burn the wagons.. As the fight became bitter.. Col.W.F.Cody rode into the stadium in beaded buckskins and SAVED THE DAY! lATER IN THE SHOW~ *after displays of horsemanship and target shooting, A "Pioneer log cabin" was brought out to show the crowd a vision of life on the frountier.. and was then attacked by WILD INDIANS! As the cabin burned, and the Pioneers were about to be killed.. Col.W.F.Cody came guns blazeing! with the US Cavlry streaming the STARS AND STRIPES! *Saved! *Saved in the nic of time! ~The show built to a climax performance with a fairly accurate depiction of Gen Custers "LAST STAND" ...and to the shock of the crowds all the solders were slaughtered by WILD INDIANS! *as the smoke died.. a large light beam projected on a screen. Col. W.F.Cody came rideing out.. and on the screen it said: TOO LATE! and now- *The real WILD WEST -------------------- Wild Indians were never the "problem"... There is a reason that Buffelo do not number millions on the plains today, and why Indian tribes are hard to find. There's good reason for hunting licences, drivers permits, state troopers on the hyways. There's good reason for laws against drunk driveing, property rights and civil codes of conduct. The wild west did not die out... The Truth is we killed it. We did it with gusto! Our human nature leads us to death and distruction. Our flesh is corruption, our minds- poision! If you abuse your freedom, justice will come. Freedom is not the licence to "do anything you wish" rather, it is the gift granted by soldiers sacrifice and writen in common law that allows us to live in peace. Our "Peace" is the agreement we make to respect one another. All our lives as Americans we will be associated with people of differing views,faiths and politics. They are not our enemys. In America.. We *Beleve in freedom for all- This is why we choose to respect others of differnt customs, views politcs and even religious faiths that differ from our own. We agree to *Respect them even when for reason of conscience we do not agree with them.
