Honor is a hard thing to put into
words... Let me take it from my perspective.
As my son, who is just back from a
tour of duty in Iraq, was walking through the malls proudly wearing his
uniform & black beret, several people came up to him thanking him
for serving this country in time of war. He felt honored that they
would take the time to say thanks.
It is somewhat a humbling
experience to be given honor, you feel a bit embarrassed over the fuss, yet
you are happy someone noticed what ever it is that you did. Honor is
being acknowledged for good work that you did, not expecting anyone to notice or
expectation of any recognition for doing it.
