Not much of a nation if we cannot hold to the principles that Jesus laid out for us, i.e. "Lover the sinner but hate the sin". If we stone the sinner then what kind of witness do we have? Not a very good one.
Call me a sceptic. I do not see politicians (doesn't matter which party) being the high upstanding moral individuals we Christians would like to see them be. All have skeletons in their closets. As long as I have a voice I will proclaim the freedoms our government has granted us. When the government starts to take these freedoms away I will speak even louder. Pledge - to carry the Gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ into all the nation. Be it in word or deed with love for ALL.
