Pastor Matt had a "good thing" to share yesterday- He began:

Of Human relief programs- Most were started by Christians Of welfare programs- Hospitals- orphanages- Hunger programs- *any effort to raise the human condition... began as a Christian effort-" Later he said: So we too are about doing good rith here at New Heights Church- "thats why in addition to evangelical outreach, we support a Medical Clinic and Doctors in the field.. we go to the local schools and I meet with principals and ask them: What can we do for you? *Then slide a check for $1,000.00.." "I then tell them- You want to help kids? *We want that too.. and I know when you hear "Christian or Church" you roll your eyes.. *So let this check be with zero strings- and oh.. here a list of volenteers willing to tutor and help you out- *and just so you don't worry<G> we checked them out on background aready, and so YOU REALLY DONT WORRY- Consider this~ Lot's of time churches use a "bait and switch" where we enter on one pretext.. then grab a kid and feed him a "JESUS NOOGY"... *We will not do that- we do not HAVE too, so we won't! ---------------------- See.. *Ministry.. lifts the load of the human condition.
