Dear friends- 35 years ago.. "Right" seemed to be a black and white issue.
I did not understand or have anyone explain to me the evils of discrimination and social injustice. I grew up in a white AoG church in Norwalk California. I was a Royal Ranger! It seemed STRANGE to hear gospel music sung on the TV during a civil rights movement march. It seemed STRANGE to hear a black preacher talk of earthly justice, pride and freedom against discrimination. It seemed STRANGE to see them be arrested, beat with police clubs and attacked by dogs.. It seemed STRANGE that Christians would be in the street. It made my America look STRANGE! *I didn't understand that injustice to one.. was an injustice to all.
