We have a Sectional Lockin(generally it is in January but we had a snow out so we moved it to) next weekend where we will be making our cars. This has worked great over the years. Here is a link to the permission slip and details of it all. http://64.72.37.157/currentflyer.pdf   Get it all done in one 22 hour lock in and only have to deal with setup and break down of tools once and the mess once.  We add games, tool craft certification and a speed shop to make it a great value to all.

Getting back to some Ranger Stuff ;)  Have any of you guys started Derbies yet?  And just out of curiosity, what is the coolest derby car you have seen?  I'd have to say that the coolest car I've seen was a Sea Otter with a Starfish on it's stomach. The fur actually looked wet. Very detailed. The Commander also made a Salmon running with a hook in its mouth.
