*Smile.. "Whatever" *I may just be convinced to Vote Republican! This AWOL thing.. and the Vietnam link stirred up some strange emotions in my 51 year old bubble.. As *I recall- I myself as a Naval Reservist #D886713 had a few bad days and missed some drills.. I may even have gone UA while on active duty, and remember standing at a "Captians Mast" UCMJ non-judicial court. The charge as I recall was "deriliction of duty" where 'ole A#1 failed to properly relive the watch at sea. Was *I ever wrong-wrong-wrong! ALL that trouble was ajudicated, dodged or forgotten and my time was granted HONORABLE SERVICE. *Just like GW Bush.. This I recall.. *along with two or three other things in my past that I ain't so proud of, or want to share. So- now I find I can cut old George some slack for beer calls and Yale Skull and Bones pranks. Kerry also has some skeller'tons and no doubt threw the big WAR MEDALS that now hang on his wall.. over the fence of the White House he desired to reside in<G> Whatever- I know I ain't so MORAL or even sanctifyed as to enguage in one-way mud slinging...
