Subject: Prayer Request for Potomac District

Commanders,

We received a call this morning from Tony Wilson, senior commander at OP 232 in the PO district. A Ranger family in his church was involved in the water taxi tragedy on Friday in the Baltimore Harbor.

One of the three people still missing is a Ranger Kid (6 yrs old). His name is Daniel. His sister Sarah (8 yrs old) is in critical condition at a local hospital. She was trapped under the boat for 35 min before her rescue. She was pronounced brain dead on Saturday; however, scans on Sunday showed brain activity. She can now open her eyes and move her hands. One of her doctors is from India. He has seen the improvements in her condition and has told the family to continue praying to their God. Their dad, George, is the Ranger Kids commander at the church. The commanders and pastors at their church are taking turns staying and praying with the family at the hospital.

We are asking that you-the district commanders, executive committee, and office staff-hold this family in prayer.
