Here is an update on the news from Baltimore
regarding the boat accident.
Sunday they found little David and 1 of the
other two people who had been missing. 1 person from Alexandria Va remains
missing. The media broke with David's name today for the first time.
Where this occurred was in one of the
most famous harbors in the United States as our National Anthem was penned
there.
I was there at the harbor when they found
David, but I was not on the side of the harbor that they found him at. I
wasn't there to even be looking for him, I was there in Baltimore on business.
Man, it was hard knowing this about one of the boys. I never knew David or
his family, but I did know that they were from the Central Section. I was
praying for the Bentrems even before I knew about the connection to Rangers.
Thinking about a 6 year old being out in that harbor, man wow. I had my
Ranger sweatshirt on just to symbolize that I was thinking about him. Nobody
picked up on why I was wearing it though. I didn't even discuss it with anyone
as my wife was worried about all of the panhandlers and we had wanted to see
some of the attractions there.
My prayers remain for the family, knowing
that they are part of our extended Ranger family.
Please continue to pray not just for the
Bentrems, but for those who else were affected by this tragedy.
