Hey you Potomac guys,
quick question for you, Has anyone ever thought of asking the District
position on this? Last I remembered is that somehow there could be some
sort of effect on how ROTY is done with this transitional stuff. I just
thought it would be prudent for you to get it straight from Dan Harlan as to
how if at all it is going to be attended to and how the District plans on
handling it. Sometimes somethings will be permitted while others might not
be, so I thought that perhaps just following up your chain of command might
be a good course to take. Remember you are not alone out there and that the
Sectional and Executive staffs are there to help. Start with asking your
Sectional Commander, I know Central Section is Gary Wagner but the other
sections, it's been a while for me since I was serving on Sectional staff in
Capital Section. I think Capital Section is Ron Davis last I heard, One of
the two Tidewater Sections if I remember correctly was Phil Vieth, but ask
your Sectional Commander and if he doesn't know he will get it from
Commander Harlan.
I'd just hate to see you guys get your boys started on something to find
out later that it isn't going to be allowed to count toward ROTY. Usually
this can clear it right up. Most of the time most of the districts in the
same region are reading from the same page, but not always. Sometimes there
are some differences between Districts and Regions and it is important to
not forget that. I remember that there were things we did in Potomac that
were different than things SNED/ NNED/ Penn-Del districts did but yet we are
still in the same region. In most cases the Districts are the ones with
the final say on how things like that would be approached. (if they hadn't
changed that too) Need to email the District for any important reason?
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Denise Raduano would likely receive the email unless she
is no longer there (I don't really know, it has been a little while for me
and things just like to change) But anyway,

Best of Wishes.
