Some moving pictures of folk doing it rough. Freedom is more than a word or a dictate from a government. The Soviet Union would boast of the freedoms of its people, yet they didn't consider themselves free.
Similarly the Iraqi people don't consider themselves free, despite the pronouncements of your president. I would think that many inside the USA wou;dn't consider themselves to be free right at the moment when they feel the need to look over the shoulder, to regard as suspicious any activity which catches their eye, when they need to think that the unexplained actions of a neighvour might in some way be the precursor of more terror. No - freedom can't be spoken. Freedom is something that happens at the soul level. On the inside. Deep, deep down. When Jesus said "...if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed..." [Jn 8:36] he was talking about this freedom. Not bought with guns, or power, or might, or force. But by love. Victor. > http://64.72.37.157/ourtroopsiraq.pdf > > The above link needs to be revisited.
