Duane, if you're out there you'll like this.
Classes were all but two or three taught by teams of GMA/Jr. Cdrs except the FCF merit of Knife and Hawk.
Sr. Guide GMA Stetson Jenkins co-ordinated all and made the camp run well. Commanders were used only as monitors where needed (and that wasn't much)
Worship for the Saturday night Council Fire was provided by worship band from Calvary Assembly in Hampton , VA Outpost 10. Said worship band was comprised of all GMAs.
We've been working toward this for a number of years and God made it happen.
Classes taught were:
Lashing
First aid skills
BB gun/Firearm safety/Rifle Marksmanship
Knife and Hawk
LFTL and Jr. LFTL
Compass
Wilderness Survival
Primitive shelters
Primitive snares
Firecraft
Toolcraft
Archery
Bird Study
The beauty of using the GMAs to do the work was that it freed up the Leader/Instructors to teach several LTA modules at the same time.
Oh yeah, the afternoon good time activity for the boys was frozen chicken soccer. I'll let you draw your own pictures.
In His service for the boys,
Gary Burnin Heart
