Hi. We are having a survival campout this next weekend. What do you all
do for this activity?
In 1997 I used a Big Coffee Can and put most of the stuff below in it.
Items to Pack:
[ ] 1. 2 beef jerky and bullion cube;
[ ] 2. Paper and pencil;
[ ] 3. Water-proof matches;
[ ] 4. candle
[ ] 5. Small knife;
[ ] 6. Spool of fishing line (at least 60 pound test) for lashings,
snares, and emergency fishing;
[ ] 7. Fishhooks (assorted sizes1, flies or lures;
[ ] 8. Water purifying tablets (regularly check the expiration date);
(One bottle made a lot of kits)
[ ] 9. Small, well-equipped, firstaid kit;
[ ] 10. Small bar of soap for first aid;
[ ] 11. Aluminum foil (for making drinking and cooking utensils-four
12- inch square sheets);
[ ] 12. Poly tarp (8 by 8 feet for shelter);
[ ] 13. plastic sheet (4 by 4 feet for catching rain water or making a
solar still);
[ ] 14. Emergency Blanket.
