Sen.John Kerry spoke yesterday to a open crowd of Oregon citizens
at historic Pioneer Square.
Royal Ranger GMA#3911 attended and reported a firm message addressing
the need for change of national administration. GMA#3911 mentioned
the need for attention to moral ethics in use of force in defence
of America and the desire to return to multi-lateral solutions to
international situations.
VietVet Jim Rassman again thanked the senator for comming out on the
bow of his PCF Swift boat while under enemy fire 40 years ago to reach
out a hand to the former green beret and lift him to safety.
A surly group of 50+ year old VietVet's looking more like Harley
riders than warriors escorted Kerry to the stage, dressed in black
with patches on vests.. white hair abundent.
GMA#3911 picked up on a promise to assist college with a national
service volenteer program, and working for a national health care.
The crowd of citizens applauded with enthuseasum<G> for change.
GMA#3911/Eagle Scout currently is a political science student and
has a Kerry sticker on his Toyota Truck.
