Have them pick up trash on SAFE road.  Safe being one with low speed limits and lots of adult supervision.  It doesn't' take a lot to do this and it is a worth while project.

What do you'all do for community service projects....next Saturday we will be taking our boys up to a local recycling drop off site to help load stuff into the appropriate dumpsters so the recycling center can pick stuff up.  For do this, the local police department is providing a picinic lunch for the boys in a local park as a thank you for there help.   Just wundered what other service projects were out there....We are doing this with Ranger Kids thru Expeditions.
