May I inform you that yesterday the German Bundesversammlung voted in a new Bundespr�sident.
He will be in office for five years.
The most outstanding item in his short speech after he got elected was the way he ended:
"May God bless Germany."
 
He seems to be a believer.
 
Most of the current government members did not include in ther swearing-in ceremony the words ". . . so help me God."
Including our chancellor Gerhard Schr�der.
One of these persons even remarked later, that God had never helped him so why should he be mentioned. 
 
Germany is practically bancrupt by now.
