Hi ken. We have done the Knights Theme several times. I didn't coordinate 
that and don't remember the activities other than the one I ran.  ''climbing 
with a halberd'' it basicly is a short spear that had a point and a hatchet 
on it and it was used to dethrow horseman and climb over fences... my event 
was to have the boy  hook the halberd them over a limb and climb up the 
handle and ring a bell that was tied up to a limb.... my halberds didn't 
hold up to the weight so we used ropes for the boys to climb up and then 
ring the bells.

Most of the time we use the same events just rename them with a Knight theme 
name....

I sent a email to my sw div commander requesting names of the events we had 
for the RK Day.  I also ran a archery event that could be used as a patrol 
event.  2 bales of hay with cheap blue plastic tarp using iron wire to tie 
them together then put some gunny sack Walmart material accross it that you 
painted a archery round on made great targest.  The arrows make a thawk when 
they hit the target.

Hey guys, the theme for this year's Pow-Wow/Ranger Camp in the Northern 
California/Nevada District is going to be 'Knights of the Round Table', 
which several districts have used in the past several years.  I will be 
coordinating the events again this year, so I am asking for your help and 
suggestions for Patrol Relay Events for the camp.  Not too elaborate and 
not too expensive, of course, but fun and challenging...
