I have indoor plumbing... but the hot water (and in Winter, the house) is
heated by solar energy. It works real well. I have NEVER run out of hot
water, even if I was last in line to take a shower. Sometimes in the
Winter, after about 3 days of clouds, the natural gas backup system has to
take over, but that is pretty rare.

My father does, however, have a genuine outhouse, and all lighting in said
outhouse is solar (unless you bring a flashlight with you at night). He
also has some indoor plumbing, though.

I'm sure I was safer driving my Jeep than riding in a new rental car with a
sleeping driver! Chris seemed to enjoy the novelty of riding in a genuine
Jeep. By the way, I did repair my gear shift knob so that it didn't come
off so easily, after you left...

No, I have no swine... but I do have a lot of birds. :-)
