*Wasn't that just a great word! *Wow!

I had the feeling of great chains dropping off, when the truth
of the potential of Rangernet hit... Since the start of Royal Rangers
in 1962 we had allways lived out our "Ranger Lives" in local
Outposts and the only link beyond was "High Adventure Mag." or
a visit from Cdr.Johnnie...and his "staff"

*Regretibly, this developed.. (*In my opinion -steping out again on thin
ice) ...a "Man Powered-Men's Ministry to boys" and left out the boys who
were reached, teached and kept... *Untill they could grow into "Men"
and fill the ranks of leadership, with 30 years of Ranger experiance<G>

What Rangernet brought, was a way that *Everyone could participate in
the process of contributing to the whole... Bro Braswell said in one early
post.. (*DFM Mandate was very young)

He said: Communication speeds change, and concepts of "Headquarters"
shift when (*WORD PICTURE!)the "spokes communicate to other spokes thru
the rim as well as the hub"

I beleved this "Liberateing power" to speed ideas intractively would
attract the best we have to give to be explored, reviewed, and used
for the betterment of Royal Rangers... and a improved "program"<g>

I beleved that because, application is as important as training, and
when we Commanders apply ourselves as well as training we recieve
"feedback" instantly as to what works and what don't<G>..this is a
way to seperate the "wheat from the chaf.." ..or as we said here
on Rangernet.. *Eat the hay and spew the sticks! :')

*I myself don't have anytime to mess around with what doesn't work<G>
so I'm interested in finding out "for the boys" what does!

*along the way.. I'll admit to falling in several pits.. and haveing
"Smokey" blow his top<G> Heheeee...

What does a Royal Ranger do then?

He picks up his pack.. brushes off the dust and heads on to the goal!

(*What does the mass mind think about such messages?)
