"Smokey hats" are cool, but the kneesocks.....<G>

I thought our Senior Commander looked pretty "spiffy" wearing his RR
uniform with shorts in church on Ranger Sunday. :-)

And the new black "Ready" t-shirt looks great with a pair of black slacks
and a Ranger beret.

Just as each A/G church has its own distinctive 'flavor' without
compromising the central teachings of the denomination, I'm sure that each
outpost can have its own style, while staying true to the purposes and goals
of Royal Rangers.

As an onlooker and supporter of Rangers, that's what I find so interesting
about Rangernet, that wonderful mixture of voices, ideas, wisdom, and
encouragement from around the world. I enjoy hearing about what makes us
different as well as what brings us together.

Sounds like an expanded uniform selection would allow each outpost to
express both it's unity with the national organization of RR and its unique
identity within the local community.

All I know is, when God's in charge, change isn't necessarily easier to go
through, its just that the end results are worth it.

Of course, I don't wear the uniform, I just get to admire it.
So maybe I'm all wet. <G>
