Ranger Mitch Silvers was shot by the NVA and now I have a Man
who sat for 5 1/2 years waiting for freedom, came home and is running
for our vote. He pledges to tell the truth.. and speak straight.. mayby
Sacrifice for Country is secondary to a "silver spoon in the mouth"
Yup...He don't have a CHANCE! GW Bush has it "locked up"...
Yea... I think I'm way off.... and why would I want my "friends" to
give him a second look?
I have heard folks sometimes vote party, and mayby even vote for who
they
think has a best chance to win... *My error was in reading about one man
and what he says the "problem" is.. *It matched what a US Congresslady
Linda Smith had to say in our church.
Rep.Linda Smith was a big Ranger backer.. even bought chicken from us<G>
*She talked politics in OUR CHURCH because she had something important
to say!
She said that after being elected by "write-in vote" to the Congress and
not spending a dime..
. Her undertsanding of the role of government was challenged by "special
intrest".
Money was the "root of all evil" and "Money" was to flow to her if she
just did what
folks wanted. *Compromise her "ethics"...
She was expected to host cocktail parties in rooms set up accross from
her offices in
Wash.DC.. and she as a Assembly of God church member and
Missionette-objected..
Later as she ran for the Senate, it wasn't issues or support of the
people but her objection to
"Playing Ball" with GOP leadership that brought her defete.( *She is
re-grouping her efforts for
a run at Governer of Washington state)
What I watched in N.H. was people "get close" and have 104 personal
"town meetings" that were open to any question we might bring as
citizens of
our nation..
McCain won on the Belivebility "factor"... as well as the issues...with
Independents and Republicans... the vote was by people! in secret!
..and the outcome should speek for it'self.
*Same with my many messages about TEAM and the Patrol...
*you don't have to impliment anything! I have no power or authority...
There is no requirement that you teach Character-Virtue-Honor or
respect..
I appoligize for "blowing steam" into your world over Mc Cain..
...eat the hay and vote your conscience.
One last thing.. *I was wrong John Wayne was a "Hero" he spoke the truth
and I bought it.. "No substitute for Victory"
