Hey ya'll! I'd really covet your prayers. For the past several months I've
been putting together a mission trip to the Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation
in N Mt to do repairs on the missionary church building. We'll be jacking up
the building to replace the foundation blocks, resealing the roof & doing
some painting & plumbing. The project starts this Fri., April 28.
God has really worked wonders in getting together a good group of 20 FCF
guys & family members (I was hoping for 4-6.) & providing the funds &
expertise. It certainly is not my organizational skills!
Not only that but a local police officer is interested in starting a RR
outpost on the reservation.
Several of us will be bringing tipis & we'll attend church Sun. in our FCF
outfits. All the more opportunity to arrouse interest & make openings to
witness of Jesus by our pressence, our actions & our words.
Pastor Amy Fulton, the missionary, is very excited about our coming to help
her meet a serious need. Please pray that the Lord will continue to make a
way for us to serve Him, give us favor with the locals (& with the weather)
& protect all involved from injury.
Also, I just learned yesterday that my father-in-law has been hospitalized
w/ congestive heart failure. Please pray for his salvation, healing &
deliverance from alcoholism. This also puts my participation in the mission
in doubt.
Our God is truly an AWESOME God. He does miracles! Please pray for some in
these situations.
