Seth is a Straight Arrow. He works very hard at his advancements
and this evening he earned his Craft Achievement Badge. He made
several items, one of which was a lamp shade decorated with
Bible scenes and motifs. He had an explanation for each one.
Mike is a Pioneer who has earned merits and rank, but of late
his behavior has been slowly growing violent. Tonight he punched
a boy in the stomach and started to fake choke another. His
commander brought him to me (Does ANYONE out there want my
white bars???) and I talked with him after his commander had
talked with him. His father came in and I told everyone that
we were going to deal with this. Mike showed very little
emotion, although he looked pensive when I said we were going
to deal with the problem. I looked at his dad and asked him
to lay hands on Mike and lead us in prayer. By the end, Mike
was in tears and truly repentant.
That's why I'm in Rangers. Reaching, teaching, and keeping
the next generation for Jesus.
