I rented at the video store the Movie "Grey Owl" starring Pierce Bronson who I beleve played one of the James Bond characters. The story is true and also a warm and well done tale of one boy who chose to live his dreams...and became an author of wilderness tales. He said he went to the woods to play a game that gave him pleasure, and it went far beyond his plans.. *something of this is what I keep trying to say about Royal Rangers.. *That is- the boys could enter the "game" and play the program as their "Dream come true" the path they walk will lead them to a changed life! ...many times we want to cut to the bottom line and spill the "beans" on each and every step along the way, and the boys rush to earn what's next and we rush to stay ahead... Truth is- that we learn at a different pace than each other.. and time spent in silence, may be as valued as the greatest of our plans to lay out the "meaning" of what we are about. A point not made well is that the "significance" of our understanding is to be deep and abideing... The deeper it goes, the longer we stay at the campfire of fellowship. I'm just back from a FCF Phase 1 testing camp... I see a "turning of the worm" in this time of transition, and pray we span it with *vision to keep that which endures and release that which hinders us from a closer walk with out Lord! More later! -=A=- -- ࡱ
