I am F.R. Schulz from Germany with the Ranger name Simson.
Jesus says that whoever will take the sword will die thru the sword. HE never sent His
disciples armed with physical weapons but with spiritual ones.
If you live in remote places and if you have training with firearms I think it's o.k.
to own
and use them. Same if you go hunting.
But if you live in a town you can't take a gun everywhere you go. It's a civilized
place. If
criminals want to hurt you they'll always be meaner than you and kill you from behind.
When I lived in Oregon I met many people who had lost loved ones thru accidents with
firearms or who had been hurt badly.
In my country of Germany almost nobody has a weapon and I have never heard of
anybody among my relatives and friends who had been killed or hurt by a weapon.
When arms are easily available they will be misused easily by mad people.
Civilized christians living in civilized places don't need firearms, and I guarantee
you,
they will never be shot by one.
